Pre-production samples

Here are some samples- (Click on the pic for a bigger image)

First the mosquito, with hackle tail, and with a moose tail. The moose tail gives a fuller body and rides a little higher/better in rough water.

Oops - I forgot about the white hair wing version. It does have better visibility.

Here are three woolly buggers.

An olive size 2 Long, with olive head, copper rib, and some pearl flash in the tail.
This is a black with purple body size 2 XX Long. It has a red rib, red flash in the bushier-style tail, fuller body hackle feathers, and a red flash wing and a red head.

This is a black size 2 XXLong, with a red flash in the bushier-style tail, red rib, and a red flash beard.

Here are the three buggers with a ruler. Note the black ones are longer, but they are all on the same size hook- a size 2. The space between the point and the body is about 1 centimetre.

I think this is a serviceable size for pike and lake trout, but still easy to cast, and larger grayling and rainbows can certainly handle it.

You can pick from these, or any combination of these or any other colours I have in stock, for:
Tails
Bodies
Hackles and
Flash

I tied these on size 2 hooks as it was mentioned "pike but not too huge" , but I can tie pretty much anything- just say bigger or smaller, imagine a colour, add shiny bits; what ever works.
(Note- these all work.)

  1. I'm a sucker for pretty colours like pink and purple and anything shiny... I love the two black wooly buggers the most; and I like the fat moose mosquitos!
